There’s no time like spring to shop for a new home, and on Saturday, April 13, home shoppers in Las Vegas made their way to Skye Canyon for the debut of Century Communities’ latest neighborhood, Aspen. The model home park located in Phase 2 at 8054 Skye Bridge St., near Grand Teton and Egan Crest Drives, includes three two-story model homes, though four floor plans are offered.
Priced from the low $300s, prospective homeowners were thrilled to find that Aspen includes Century Communities’ most popular floorplans that quickly sold out in their Phase 1 neighborhoods. Floorplans allow for generous natural light, that makes each variation of open floor plan feel even more spacious. An added bonus is residents can take in the mountain views that make Skye Canyon unique. But what really had shoppers buzzing were the open, airy kitchens that flow into family living space and to outdoor patio areas. For some, this isn’t just a nice-to-have, it’s a must-have.
“Our circle of friends is Food Network obsessed; everyone is really into cooking. In our current home, the kitchen is cut off from the living space so when we host parties, everyone ends up crammed in the kitchen,” explained Samantha from Las Vegas, who is considering Residence 2126, Andalusian elevation. “But this floorplan is perfect for entertaining, and daily life.”
Home shoppers also loved the flexibility afforded by Aspen’s floorplans ranging from 1,731 to 2,259 square feet and offering options for three and four bedrooms and 2.5 or three baths. All floorplans come with a generous two-car garage.
And since location matters, home shoppers were happy to discover that Century’s Aspen neighborhood is close to Skye View Park, a two-acre neighborhood park, and other Phase 2 amenities like a network of walking trails and designated bike lanes on all the major streets.
In addition to touring model homes, a few lucky attendees won prizes in Skye Canyon’s First Look raffle, including a $250 Smith’s gift card, golf for four at Las Vegas Paiute Golf Resort, a Skye Canyon prize pack that includes a Kleen Kanteen and a North Face jacket, and more.
