Skye Canyon announces that Pardee Homes has closed on 17.5 acres, kicking off Skye Canyon’s 214-acre Phase II that includes a total of 11 builder parcels. The neighborhood will be Pardee Homes’ third in the 1,700-acre master-planned development in northwest Las Vegas. Models are expected to open in early 2018.
Amenities in the second phase of residential development at Skye Canyon include a two-acre park, a network of walking trails that are easily accessible from each neighborhood and end in the park, designated bike lanes on all the major streets, and a charter school. In addition to Phase II, work has started on Skye Canyon Marketplace that includes Las Vegas’ first Smith’s Marketplace, along with other retailers.

In late summer 2017, Pardee Homes will open its Cobalt neighborhood, rounding out Skye Canyon’s Phase I. Pardee’s second neighborhood in Phase I; Cobalt includes two-story homes that range from 2,326 to 3,314 square feet starting in the mid $300,000 price range. Though Cobalt’s floor plans are slightly smaller than Pardee’s Keystone neighborhood that is also Phase I, elevations will be similar to the homebuilder’s popular Contemporary Spanish, Transitional Farmhouse, and Nevada Living designs.
Pardee Homes’ Keystone Neighborhood Plan Two recently won a 2017 Silver Nugget Award in the Best Architectural Design in the 2,001 – 3,000 square-foot category. The award recognizes those who have demonstrated excellence in the Las Vegas homebuilding industry.
